Just heard you on WDVR on Honky Tonks and Heartaches where one can hear some of the best country music made thanks to Tom Wardle and the other country DJs at that station. If you are out of broadcast range, listen to this great station on the internet.
I like your sound and I wish you a lot of luck with your new CD.

Howdy Vance........Received your CD today.....thanks for sending it. You can add WDVR-FM to the list of playing stations.....it's a goodie!!....I like it a lot, and am particularly partial to the title track......well produced, great musicians, great songs. My 'Honky Tonks & Heartaches' show airs on www.wdvrfm.org on Monday from 9-Noon eastern time.....please do tune it.....you'll be there!! I feature only the cream of the crop independent artists, and bill it as 'the best country music you never heard'. Hope you can tune in.
I enjoyed the CD booklet too....all the Texas dance halls......sure hope I can get to Texas one of these days and experience them for myself. I play a whole mess of Texas artists....just love it and so do my listeners. They're gonna love your music too.
Thanks again for the CD....you'll be on my playlist for a long, long time.
Best wishes, Tom

Hi Vance,
Finally the time have come to swing out some great Texas Country Music to our show. I saw that my friend Kjell also had a request to make it come along. Well, Country Music in the best way will always be played at our station. And my "pick of the week" will be the Traditional Corinne Corinna. And what a awesome version! This swings the song up to a new level.
Take a listen at the whole show by entering our website. www.mcwc-radio.com
Overall this is a superb production and it stands well out in the flood of todays music. There have always been something special with TX Country, and great artists like you Vance makes it live on.
Hurray for another excellent music product. No bull, no shit, just plain great Country Music. No more to say - this will play.

Hi Vance,
Got your cd in today & listened to every cut while driving around Lubbock. I truly like your style & variety. Great musicians backing you up! I will debut cut 2 next Monday as there has been a delay in KRBL transferring to the new owners. I will stay aboard when the change takes place in about a week. I will do a morning show instead of afternoons & will sell the rest of the day. The station will stay classic country. I was happy to hear "Your in love with the wrong man" on the cd. That is an old Mundo Earwood song from the '70's. Mundo is a friend of mine whom I met around 1971 when I was at KTLW in Texas City. Mel Tillis sang harmony on his version. I hoped someone would do a remake & you did a great job. I love the "Texas Two-Step" cut too.
Best regards,
Larry Byers

Hello Mr. Lane!
May I introduce myself, I am Kjell Horlin, one of the DJ's & Music Director
at a country
Music show on Swedish radio called "Pop-A-Top Country" on MCWC Country
Radio.
Since 1982 we have been on air.
This is the oldest country show in Sweden still active.
I am also at a radio-show called "FeelGood Radio" and there I play Country,
Rockabilly, Swamp Pop, Tex-Mex, Cajun, Blues and Rock“n Roll.
We are trying to do our best to give traditional country music and artists
as much exposure as possible, especially independent artists and labels.
We are also take music-requests from our listeners and the show is very
popular around here.
Is it possible to get a promotional copy of your CD 'Texas Two-Step' for
possible airplay and share your music with my listeners at my radio show?
The soundclips are really very great, I'm sitting here listening while
I'm writing this letter.
This is what country music's all about. this is the real thing.
Looking forward to hear from you soon!
Thanks in advance.
Sincerely/
Kjell Horlin

I think Vance is a wonderful artist. He has a great voice and he has the older country sound to him which is what most people miss in country music today. I believe that he will eventually be known throught out the state of Texas. I recommend this cd to everyone.
